Discovering Switzerland with Radisson Blu

We spent the perfect weekend discovering Switzerland with Radisson Blu. We were invited to an Instameet in Zurich, Andermatt, and Lucerne. It was actually one of the best InstaMeets that we have ever attended. Many thanks to Radisson Blu for this memorable weekend, fantastic food experience as well as the possibility to meet like-minded peeps. We simply loved it!

Radisson Blu Zurich Airport

As you know, we’d rather like to let the images speak for themselves, but we still want to provide a short overview of the weekend:

1. The meeting point was at the Radisson Blu Zurich airport, on the rooftop which provided us with perfect views over the airfield. Not a bad place to have a yummy breakfast, isn’t it?

2. VIP bus ride to Andermatt, where we could catch a glimpse into the “soon-to-be-opened” Radisson Blu Reussen Andermatt. It was very interesting to see the construction site with all tasks still to be done until mid-December – and it will be even more interesting to see the end result.

3. The construction site visit was then followed by a tasty lunch at a local restaurant and an InstaWalk through Andermatt.

4. After the InstaWalk, we went from Andermatt to Lucerne where we went to our base for the night: the Radisson Blu Lucerne. One of the highlights of the weekend was definitely the fantastic 5-course truffle dinner which was prepared by the very talented master chef Dalia Kasmociute. Luckily, Mr. Hector Compagtnoni, an Italian truffle expert guided us through the evening. Just check the pictures below and you know what we’re talking about 🙂

5. Day 2 – new day, new adventures, new highlights! First of all, we had a rich and healthy breakfast to conquer the day. The energy was needed for those who had fear of height because Radisson Blu took us on a spectacular ride on the “CabriOBahn”, a convertible-style cable car to the top of Mt. Stanserhorn. After a short hike, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the evolving Rondorama restaurant on top of the mountain.
