Look at this breathtaking #tentview – overlooking the Val d’Ossola in Italy. We went on another 2-day-1-night cross-border hiking trip, starting from Binntal in Wallis to Devero Alp in Italy. As you know we love waking up in absolute calm and secluded places. The Binntal Nature Park on the Swiss side is very renowned for its extensive natural and cultural landscapes – and it’s also famous for its minerals and rock crystals.

Long Story Short: If you wanna explore a rich geological diversity with an exceptionally varied flora, you definitely need to visit the Binntal and Ossola valley. I mean, look at these colors:

The Binntal valley is a true paradise for mineral lovers as it is one of the most mineral-rich regions in the Alps. On the crystal hunt, you will be hopefully rewarded with extraordinary finds – like us 😊.

Hiking in the Alps often rewards you with expansive views of picturesque mountains, blue skies, and breathtaking landscapes – but sometimes you’ll be surprised by pouring rain! 💦🌧️💦 Luckily, this time we were well prepared for some wet-weather hiking! Thank you Columbia Sportswear!

Not a bad place to take a rest. What we all need between long hikes is to take a break to give our body and muscles an opportunity to rest up a bit…
